Katie Walker

Katie produces original pieces of beautifully crafted contemporary furniture. Having studied at the Royal College of Art, Katie has a fine art based approach - she strives to create pieces which are as beautiful as they are functional, often with an added element of surprise.

Since 1994, Katie's designs have been recognised with many awards and pieces can be found in public galleries and private collections worldwide. Her works ranges from the light, witty ‘Weight & see’ cheval mirror through commercial commissions to art based sculptural pieces such as the ‘Winged’ seat.

Collaborations with other workshops brought the opportunity to work with a number of retailers, designing pieces for their ranges. These clients include Gaze Burvill, Benchmark Furniture, Heals and John Lewis plc.

All pieces are hand made in the UK using only the finest quality materials sourced with care.
